Our Team Photoshoot At Found Rentals

We knew the time had come for us to do new “headshots” for our website.  But we are no different from the rest of you. We just kept procrastinating.  “I need to lose a few pounds.” “I am going to go the gym!” “I am going to change my hair color”. These were the familiar tunes around here.

But one day after setting up a prototype meeting at Found Vintage Rentals, the light bulb went off. Let’s do a shoot at Found Vintage Rentals!  I mean, what’s not to love about this place? It is filled with the most amazing furniture and more goodies than you can imagine. The light is crazy good and the Found Team is like hanging out with your buddies!

We approached Joel Maus of Studio EMP - to see what he thought about the concept.  He loved the idea and it was an easy commute for him, of course, since his studio is upstairs at Found.  For those of you not from this area he is married to Jeni Maus, the founder of Found!

We knew that the overall vibe of the shoot was to create the atmosphere that we love best. Which are collaboration, fun, design, and often champagne, added to the mix for good measure. First, we love everything about the marriage... (pun intended) of exemplary design and a really good party. It goes without saying that we each have our own style and approach to design. But, we each understand that the communion of all of our personal aesthetic and taste makes both the vision and the end result come to life!

Jeans and a white shirt with a glass of champagne was the jumping off point for the first look. Barbi went with a classic white silk shirt and then through in her favorite pair of ripped jeans.  Classic with a twist - her signature style.  Lyndsey went with old school white v neck and jeans but added an edgier necklace and booties.  Elegant eclectic - her signature style.  Layne combined the idea of a white t shirt and jeans into white jeans and the perfect neutral sweater.  The perfect version of, well, her signature style.

In the end we all brought our own style to the shoot. That layering is what made it work!  We couldn’t be happier with the end result!

A huge thanks to Joel Maus of Studio EMP, Jeni Maus - Found Vintage Rentals and our girl Jewel Butler of Found Vintage Rentals!!  Also a special thanks to Trey from Aris on the Coast for the beautiful clothes and La Tavola Linens.
